2010 St Petersburg NOODs gets 2 out of 3 Days Racing
Day one saw the postponement flag flown onshore due to multiple storms comingthrough Tampa Bay. Racers gathered in St. Pete Yacht Club to watchthe 33rd America's Cup and enjoy each other's company. With winds topping 25, windchills as low as 40 degrees, and continuing storms, racing was abandoned for the day.
Day two racing got undeway with choppy conditions and winds of 15 to 20 knots. Four races took place this day with Tac Boston on Honour taking the lead with three firsts and a second, followed by Jim Pearson on Slippery in second place for the day with Mark Dobie's Zipper in a close third.
The final day fo racing turned lighter and shiftier winds with leftover chop. The race committee was able to get in two mor races. Mike Bremer's Far Far, won the first race, but at the end of the day Tac Boston was able to hold on to his lead and take first overall, followed by Jim Pearson and Mark Dobie.
